Domes

The picture of the "Domes" was taken in the fishing village of Varzuga on the Tersky shore of the White Sea. Varzuga is one of the oldest settlements in the Murmansk region. In Varzuga is the oldest wooden church of the Murmansk region. In the picture we can see the newly made domes for this church. After the restoration of the church, the domes will be installed. This church is a monument of wooden architecture of the Russia. Surprising is the fact that wooden domes are made without a single nail for old technologies. After complete drying of the dome will get a silvery shade.
The photo was taken while traveling along the White Sea coast. The atmosphere of the north shows the Polar light on the wooden domes.
Location - Russia, Murmansk region, village Varzuga.
