The contest is suitable for professional and amateur photographers who have pictures with landscape photography on the topic and want to share them.

Ice kingdom on focus

This is a photo contest in which participants have devoted unique footage by which represent their favorite scenes from ice. These are breathtaking photographs of: sea; oceans; lakes; waterfalls; rivers and many others.

Of course, there are several considerations to keep in mind when working with ice, but the results are worth the effort. To find, explore the early winter before snowfall to cover it. Later in the season, look for places where the wind has cleared the snow from it.

Ice is just water in a solid state and its capturing in two states at the same time, can be magical. Look at the edges of streams and rivers, places where ice meets with moving water. The natural beauty of frozen water makes it an ideal object for photos, at this time of year. Temperatures outside are becoming increasingly low and the possibilities for making unique footage are increasing dramatically.

Participate and win

Every registered user may participate, by paying an entry fee of 5 Wings. Organizer guarantees a prize pool of awesome 150 euros. 50% of the collected entry fees or exactly 2,5 WINGS, will accumulate in additional prize money over secure 150 euros. 1 WINGS of virtual currency on the site amounts to € 0.32, which means that each allowed to participate, will add € 0.80 euro to the guaranteed prize pool.

An important condition, without which the competition cannot start, is to have at least 2 registered participants. To participate in the competition, you must have in the portfolio to your registration at least 5 WINGS (at a price of 2.40 euro) for each picture. VOUBS operates with its own virtual currency WINGS, which is added to your online wallet and through it you pay the entry fees to participate. How you can buy the virtual currency? This is done online via PayPal and ePay.

Why to participate?

The winner with highest overall score will receive 150 euro cash award, plus 50% of the entry fees, received by all participants. Ranked from 2nd to 10th position will receive 10 WINGS as an encouragement award in their account. Voting and determining the winners will be jury team of 3 people. 75% is the maximum score that can be achieved every participant.

Registration starts on 07.01.2017 and ends on 17.02.2017. Voting of the media will start on 14.01.2017 and will end on 20.02.2017. The winner and final ranking will be announced online. Standings and results will be visible in the last 7 days of competition.
