On my way to Hooe Lake I was hoping to find it filled with water, because I was looking for a long exposure with the shipwreck reflecting in the lake. Being a bit dissapointed at the beginning, I was amazed by this beautiful sunset, especially because 10 minutes before the sky was almost boring. This is just one of several other shipwrecks you can find here, some of them abandoned before the WWII.
The contest is suitable for participants with a passion for photography from around the world. Old classic or abandoned vehicles are a wonderful opportunity through which you can expand your photographic portfolio with some of your best memorable photographs.
Before beginning your adventure and shooting old, classic or abandoned vehicles. A good idea is to be familiar with the basics of the structure of cars. From the exterior, a car can be identified by its unique features: contour of the body; hood; bumper; array; trunk; unique logo; distinctive marks, etc. One of the challenges in photographing classic, old and forgotten vehicles is their finding.
Although any digital camera will be sufficient, for best results take your DSLR camera. The selection of lens, depends on various factors such as location, lighting, etc. Select an object of your choice and then position angle which lets you capture the entire length of the car. There are two main angles of which can be photographed objects. First, the classical position and second, from the height of the bonnet, which in most situations will be about waist height. One DSLR camera with tilting LCD, will be an advantage. Feel free to explore other angles, as low angle and perhaps higher comfortable position if you get the chance. The best would be to get a chance to shoot during the golden hours, a few hours after sunrise and two hours before sunset.
