London Eye

Also known as the Millennium Wheel, it has also been called by its owners the British Airways London Eye, the Merlin Entertainments London Eye, and the EDF Energy London Eye. As of mid-January 2015, it has been known as the Coca-Cola London Eye. The structure is 443 feet (135 m) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 394 feet (120 m).It is Europe's tallest Ferris wheel and offered the highest public viewing point in London. The wheel was constructed in sections which were floated up the Thames on barges and assembled lying flat on piled platforms in the river. Once the wheel was complete it was lifted into an upright position by a strand jack system. It is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually.

The contest is open to photographers who wish to present their works. This is a competition for high-quality images of machines. The topic is not limited and can be any type of photography. Here you will find suitable challenges for you through which you can win amazing prizes.

Machines are all around us

Your photos should be interesting and attractive to the audience. Meet the subject of shooting. Another good reason to become familiar with the machine that will shoot, is because it will help you identify interesting parts, which in turn will give you interesting images.

Shooting machines can be difficult, if you fail to determine the exact way you should do it. It is not only interesting photographic experience, but also quite complicated endeavor. Like other areas of photography, industrial photography is a challenge. Using the right techniques, will make things achievable.

How to participate in the competition?

Every registered user may participate, by paying an entry fee of 5 Wings. Organizer guarantees a prize pool of awesome 150 euro. 50% of the collected entry fees or exactly 2,5 WINGS, will accumulate in additional prize money over secure 150 euro. 1 WINGS of virtual currency on the site amounts to 0.32 euro, which means that each allowed to participate, will add 0.80 euro to the guaranteed prize pool. An important condition, without which the competition cannot start, is to have at least two registered participants. To participate in the competition, you must have in the portfolio to your registration at least 5 WINGS (at a price of 2.40 euro) for each picture.

VOUBS operates with its own virtual currency WINGS, which is added to your online wallet and through it you pay the entry fees to participate. How you can buy the virtual currency? This is done online via PayPal and ePay.

Why to participate?

The winner with the highest overall score will receive 150 euro award, plus 50% of the entry fees, received by all participants. Ranked from 2nd to 10th position will receive 10 WINGS as an encouragement award in their account. Voting and determining the winners will be jury team of 3 people. 75% is the maximum score that can be achieved every participant.

Registration begins on 29.12.2016 and ends on 08.02.2017. Winner of the contest and in the final standings will be announced online. Rankings and results will be visible in the last seven days of contest.
