A zoom burst (sometimes called a 'zoom blur') is a fun and creative photographic technique that gives the impression that a scene is almost 'bursting' towards you. This is achieved by zooming in and out while taking a photo, and depending on how you do it, can give various levels of abstraction. Learn a bit more about this technique before trying it for yourself, or check out some of our older contests on the same subject for inspiration.
This competition is with a limited number of entries. This means that whenever the number of participants hits the limit, which for this contest is 750 entries, the competition will be closed. The given time periods are an approximate estimate.
You can win Photocrowd Awards for boosting your rating and publicity. For more questions, contact email@example.com
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
