Description

 

Created in tribute to one of the first aerial photos taken in 1858 over Paris by Gaspard-Félix Tournachon, the Paris Aerial Photography Awards is inaugurating its first edition in 2020 by inviting all professional and amateur photographers, whether they take photos from a high point of view or use tools such as drones, helicopters, hang gliders, paragliders, kites, winders, masts, balloons and all sizes of aircraft, to submit their best photographs online from April 10 to September 20, in 6 main categories (and 24 sub-categories): Urban, Nature, Fine arts, People, Editorial, Real Estate.

The 2020 Jury is composed of award-winning aerial photographers and influential artists from the four corners of the world. It includes Jeffrey Milstein, Daniel Beltrá, Dirk Dallas, Alex MacLean, Benjamin Grant, Peter Essick, Florian Ledoux, Hulia Boz, Abstract Aerial Art, and Noura Al Murr Al Neyadi.

Eligibility

The PAPA 2020 competition is open to photographers, 18 years old or older, professionals, non-professionals, students, from all countries.

Photographers are invited to participate by submitting their aerial photographs to 6 categories including 24 sub-categories:
Urban / Nature / People / Fine Art / Editorial* / Real Estate*

Copyrights

The copyrights associated with each participating photograph remain the property of the participant, with no time limit.We use the participating images to promote the photographers themselves and for marketing purposes related to the Paris Aerial Photography Awards.

Entry fees

Submissions

Photographers must submit a square, vertical, horizontal, or panoramic image with a title.
There is no limit to the number of photographs that can be submitted by a participant. The same image or series may be submitted in different categories. All participating photographs must be unframed. No signature, logo, copyright or other identifying mark is accepted on a participating photograph. Minimum 2000 pixels, and a maximum of 5000 pixels on the largest side. JPEG or TIFF files, sRGB (max. 30mo).
