It invites writers, who can come up with an original or made-up story about snorkeling or anything related to this topic, to engage in a contest with a cash prize.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries.
The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool.
There are 18 spots in total with 17 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 72.00 member dollars.
For this contest, you are required to write a story that somehow incorporates the topic. The topic for this contest is: snorkeling. The story does not have to be specifically about the topic. But should clearly incorporate the topic into the story.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
Minimum length is 700 words.
Maximum Length is 7,000 words.
Recommended length is 2,000 - 3,500 words.
In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
