Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu (1350 m/4420 ft) Upon your arrival, the Tribhuvan international airport, receive you with fresh garland then private drive to the hotel in the touristic area Thamel. First, check in the room then have leisure time, we recommend you have look around the colorful Thamel Street. Then can make lunch break on multi-cuisine restaurant and recommended dinner on the typical Nepalese restaurant for authentic food and live cultural show. Overnight at hotel Day 02: Fly to Lukla then 4 hours trek to Phakding (2670 m/8757 ft) From hotel short drive to domestic terminal of Tribhuvan international airport on your flight scheduled. 35-minute flight poses superb mountain & magnificent landscapes views of northeastern Nepal. On arrival Lukla airstrip, transfer to lodge then introduce with an assistant guide. The physical trek starts from Lukla airport & the first day of a trek is approximately 7 km which takes around four hours trek route contours thru Sherpa villages with have a lovely set of lush-green landscapes with an additional view of towering snow peak. Day 03: From Phakding 7 hours trek to Namche (3450 m/11316 ft) The second day of the Everest base camp trek repetitively tougher than yesterday also more exciting throughout the day. We spend an extra night at Namche then traverse to Hotel Everest View which also offers the grand Himalayas view with Sherpa valley. We follow an uphill trail from Namche on the stone-stair which also provides the picturesque view of Namche village. Day 05: From Namche 6 hours trek to Tyangboche (3840 m/14745 ft) The trek begins from the guesthouse and abruptly walked-out Namche Bazaar then continues trek on fine wider trail maintaining by trekker's fund collecting by old Sherpa man. Majesty Mount Everest saw while trekking and colorfully painted stupa make your walk enjoyable. From Kyanjuma gentle descend path passes pine forest and local tea shop to Phunge Thenga where we stop for the lunch along the Dudh Koshi River. Day 06: From Tyangboche 6 hours trek to Dingboche (4440 m/14563 ft) In the morning you will be wake-up by monks daily praying in the gomba then panoramic Mountain View see from your room windows. The trail follows throughout rhododendron forest and visiting nunnery monastery, follow yak trail then cross the Imja River. Short climb-up takes us lower Pangboche then stop Samare for lunch and trail goes west bank of the river with overlooking grand view of Ama Dablam and mount Lhotse to Dingboche. Day 07: Acclimatization day and day hike to Nangkartshang peak Another acclimatization day along the EBC trek. We do a side trip to the Nangkartashang viewpoint at height of 5050 meters. From guesthouse follow the uphill trail on the ridge which displays a magnificent view of the surrounding arrogant Himalayas and Imja valley. This acclimatization help for good respiration at EBC into the thin air and good sleep in the night. Before wind starts the trek back to lodge and have leisure time. Day 08: From Dingboche 6 hours trek to Labuche (4910 m/16104 ft) From Dingboche, we follow Everest classical trail passing yak grazing pasture then walking on moraine terminal of the Khumbu glacier. From Dughla strenuous climb up to Chukpi Lhara (Everest Memorial) where can see cemetery of the of the Everest climber the name also is written on the plaque. It is also the viewpoint of the trek route see Ama Dablam, Pumari, Taboche, Cholatse and numerous climbing peaks. Day 09: From Laubuche 3 hours trek to Gorakshep (5180 m/16990 ft) then 6 hours side trek to EBC (5364 m/17563 ft) The most adventurous and exciting day of the trek with rewarding views of Khumbu glacier and surrounding high mountains. First, an hour trail is relatively easy on a craggy paved trail onward to Gorakshep. The trail is busiest with yak and tourist on the moraine also sights of Kalapatthar trail. Leave to Everest base camp after early lunch. The crumbling EBC trail provides the close view of blue glacier and ice in the frugal. The Everest base camp is marked with some rock and Buddhist flags. Day 10: Side trek to Kalapatthar (5550 m/18204 ft) then 5 hours trek to Pheriche (4370 m/14333 ft) In the morning strenuous hike up to Kalapatthar, the best viewpoint to see Mount Everest in the freezing morning and sights wider view of Khumbu Himalayan range especially Mount Everest with glacier follow down from supercilious mountains. Then short drop down to the guesthouse and have a delightful breakfast. Trek resume along with the moraine of long Khumbu glacier passing Lobuche village and Thuk-la-pass. Crumbling downhill ends at Thukla and flattens trail to Periche valley might encounter the yak baby before reach to Pheriche. Day 11: From Periche 7 hours trek to Namche Bazar (3450 m/11316 ft) From Periche trail drops with crossing river then route confluence with Island peak path. Then we pass Pangboche village upon crosses the suspension onwards gentle up trek into the rhododendron forest to Tengboche monastery. Quick look Tengboche monastery then treks keep descending to on bank of the Dudh Koshi River. Upon cross, the suspension bridge climbing up with enjoying the spectacular view of the Mount including Ama Dablam & Mount Everest to Namche Bazar. Day 12: From Namche Bazar 7 hours trek to Lukla (2860 m/9380 ft) Remaining Everest base camp trek towards to Lukla which also last day of the physical trek, follow trail steeply down on pebble and crosses a suspension bridge. The traditional chortens, Buddhist prayer flags and the inscribed mani-stone make the trail colorful with an amazing ambiance of the natural sitting landscapes. Upon arrival, Lukla just takes a rest & relax. The evening might celebrate Everest base camp trek accomplishing with Nepalese friends. Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu (1350 m/4428 ft) then transfer to hotel Short walk to Lukla airport on your scheduled flight then fly back to Kathmandu. 35-minute mountain flight provides a maximum view of the eastern Himalayas with picturesque landscapes.
