Description

Ars Electronica has announced Prix Ars Electronica 2019, its international competition for CyberArts considered the world’s most time-honoured media arts competition.

Ars Electronica has been analyzing and commenting on the Digital Revolution since 1979. Their focus is always on current developments and possible future scenarios at the nexus of art, technology and society. The visions, ideas and projects that Ars Electronica advances in collaboration with artists, scientists, technologists, engineers, entrepreneurs and social activists from all over the world are innovative, radical and offbeat in the best sense of these terms.

In 2019, Ars Electronica is accepting submissions in the following categories:

• Computer Animation

• Interactive Art +

• Digital Communities

• Digital Musics & Sound Art

• Hybrid Art

• u19 – CREATE YOUR WORLD

• Visionary Pioneers of Media Art

A work may be entered in only one category. An artist may submit more than one work.
