Bamboo and wood Basket making is a major livelihood activity of bhil tribles in central Madhya Pradesh. They making wooden, bamboo baskets and weaving mats from hundreds of years.
In India many NGOs (Non-governmental organization) are serving their duties in rural areas where they make their effort to make the standard of living of tribles and rural much better. with taking economical help by that type of NGOs in Alirajpur district at village KOTEDI a man named mangu keriya started a business of making Bamboo baskets, he make everyday 4 to 5 pieces bamboo basket. He sells his basket in local market. Day by day he is getting economically wealthy life and sands his girl child in a school.
