The Osanbashi passenger terminal deck is located in Yokohama. A fine example of the modern, innovative Japanese architecture. Really cool architecture, Unique design wooden deck, all crazy lines and paths. It's as if elements of ship architecture were borrowed to create a non-traditional wood building that serves as a public park and international cruise ship terminal jutting into the Yokohama harbor. The exterior rooftop is an interesting rolling wooden deck design to represent the ocean's waves. and everything seems to flow. The deck of this port is made by Brazilian Ipe one of the most beautiful tree in the world. It is truly an amazing structure. In any case very exciting use of precision-placed wood planks to create a mutli-faceted and multi-function structure. Categories: Action Photography |
