Bud and Reach for the Light

This photo is of the flower buds of a small weed found outside the outlying ruins of the Castle of Prague--Pražský hrad. The buds can be seen reaching for the dim light of the early evening. I captured this because I was intrigued by the simple, yet colorful nature of the calm, grounded moss around the weed, contrasting the meek color and eagerness of the flower bud to reach the sun.
