Rashed Rashed Male

This spider was disturbed from his hiding place, when I was gardening. It's large two eyes provide outstanding low light night vision.Their compound lenses have F number of 0.58 which mean's they can concentrate available to light more efficiently than cat (F 0.9) or an owl (F 1.1) The image is focused into large, light receptive retinal membrane (which destroyed at dawn and renewed again each night) It catches, its prey at night by casting a wool like: fibrillate silk net held by the front legs.
