This photograph was taken from Natore, Bangladesh. A man crossing the Baral river in Bangladesh by traditional wooden boat. In rural part of Bangladesh people depend on country boat for transportation for its low coast and convenient transport. There are different kinds of boats in Bangladesh which are made from local woods : Jarul (dipterocarpus turbinatus), sal (shorea robusta), sundari (heritiera fomes), and Burma teak (tectons grandis). People who live on the river side have their own boat as its an important part of their daily work .
