After all, not all fairy tales include fairies.
There are fairy tales forged in fires, enveloped in mystery, ruled by monsters, some of which very human.
Sometimes there is a real story behind them, to make them even scarier.
This castle is home of many such stories and despite them remains an ever present guardian of its people, a historical landmark, a symbol, a place of power and beauty. Watching over the city, a reminder of what was and what could be. Standing tall and standing proud - Edinburgh Castle.
