The wagon is a 4-wheeled vehicle, an open body and driven by an animal crew - usually a horse, donkey or ox. The wagon is used mainly for transport in villages and small towns and is among the few environmentally friendly vehicles. Raditionally, it is made of wood, although wheels with a rigid rubber band or pneumatic tires are also used. Although it looks very primitive, its work is related to complex technical details, which can
sometimes take months to assemble it. The metal elements of the structure are mostly hand-made by wire-janitors, and the production of hardwood wheels requires high professional skills and a good knowledge of the wood by the carpenters. Carriages are mainly used for the transport of agricultural produce. The carts themselves weigh about 250-300 kilograms, but they can carry a triple larger load. The photo was shot at Little Spring, Bulgaria, 2018
