Rexy and Me

Me and Rexy,
My name is Martin and this is my dog Rexy,and actually today the 26th of June he has a birthday,he just became 2 years old.I am 16 years old and I am 9th grade in school.Since i was little i wanted a pet,but my parents said it was a big responsibility for me to have a pet so they denied.When i was 14 and i had to apply for a new school i did very well on the exams so my parents were proud of me.They said if you save yourself money buy a dog,so i was determined to save myself money for Rexy so that is what i did.I bought him and called my parents to come pick me up.He was a surprise.Everybody loved him from the first sight but it was me who loved and loves and will allways love him the most.I feel a connection between me and him.When he was 4 months ,barely knowing the outside of the world vets told me he has Dysplasia-a common illness for the Labradors.I was crushed they said the operation costed 2000 BGN and my parents gave up on me,so i decided to fight on my own for his life because he was my "son" my all.I managed to save the money hardly,but i managed.Throughout the period while i was saving every week vets took a look at him gave him injections and pills until the 8th month of Rexy.Then they said that thanks to the pills and loving care of me and my parents he was ok with it now and he does not need no surgery no more.I felt this was a sign from God that this is my dog,my one and only and i should never let down on him so i have not and will never do.With the money from my savings we went to the seaside because vets told us it was healthy for him to swim so his muscles on the legs will extend and become stronger.We had a great time.I know Rexy loves me more that I love him,having in mind that I am his world and vise-versa.If i win the money i will give them to a boy named Alexander from my city,he is blind and he is in need of a dog-leader to lead him,but his parents do not have the possibility to buy him one so that is what i will do .Hope you like the picture. :)
