It is a wooden house in the Bulgarian village of Lyava reka. It is a Bulgarian tradition to build wood-carved houses made of wood, clay, straw and manure, known in many mountain villages of the country at the beginning of the last century, is about to be lost. People who know this technology are gone or are gone. They are also called the "Houses That Breathe". This is especially for storing straw with which people in the village feed their horses. This inspired me to take this picture while the tradition has not disappeared yet. In recent years, and especially after the reconstruction of the "Pass of the Republic", the village of Lyava reka forms an attractive place for recreation and ecotourism. The population of the village is 20 people and its main occupation is logging. Far from the loudly advertised rural tourism destinations. Here you will find what with the globalization irreversibly disappears - the spirit of the Bulgarian village, the village from the stories of Elin Pelin and our childhood.
