Sunsets

The simple beauty of nature captured against the evening light makes for a postcard perfect photograph! Now, for a little bit about why I chose this picture.
I don't have much experience with photography, I don't even have a proper camera. (I'm just trying to explain the context of this photo, no pity parties here!) I'm just a regular girl who lives in a regular city in a regular country. There's nothing special about me. I used a camera older than my little sister to take this photo, to show her that it works. I saw this photo a while later and was amazed to see how beautiful my own balcony looks! My mother and I planted them with our own two hands. I transferred it to my computer and tried editing a photo for the first time. I just used the options that come when you click 'edit'. It inspired me. It encouraged me. My self-esteem isn't exactly through the roof, and this picture was just that one thing I needed to prove to myself. Prove to myself that I'm enough. I know this is kind of long, but if you're still reading this, thank you. I want other people just like me, who feel like they don't have too many friends, to realise that a few flowers are beautiful too.
