The Setting Sun

I looked above the sky
Trying to stop my cry
The darkest blues I can see
My love, can you hear me?

The sun is slowly fading
The hues of yellows & oranges
Are saying goodbye.
Just like how you left me;
I was drowned with the tide.

You were my sunset;
My beautiful scenery.
You were my oranges, yellows, and blues
My tears fall down on my cheeks like the morning dews.

I closed my eyes,
I walked down the shore,
and chased the setting sun.
If I was I & sunsets were you,
Then let me chase you one last time.
For life was a storm without you,
Its best to say goodbye too.
