In a small Siberian town, a biathlon track passes through old boreal forest - the taiga. The local population for centuries has protected the forest from logging and fires. Huge cedar trees were a natural decoration of aboriginal settlements and a source of nuts for people and animals. Also, the cedar still retains a sacred status for the indigenous population. Today, the cedar forest is a natural forest Park inside the Khanty-Mansiysk city. Categories: Photography Awards ceremony |
