Wood culture - our past and our future

Wood was here before us.
Then, we made roads through woods, to get to the forests easier
We started to exploit and cut down trees
We use trees to warm ourselves,
as a building material,
for making paper,
building our traditional
and modern houses
as well as shelter for birds
Beautiful windows
and tables
and many other kinds of furniture
Wood is used for education, writing, drawing
making beautiful music and art
playground for kids
place for rest
and place for prayer too
Wood connects us
gives us food, transportation, and jobs
We need to use wood responsibly
For each tree cut, plant 10 new ones!
